I was slowly finding my rhythm. I had some products in the shops. I had markets booked for the season ahead. And I wanted to create more.

Creativity became my flow.

I wanted more connection with oils, essential oil blends, natural butters, melting, whipping, combining them in ways that felt intuitive, grounding, and alive. I wanted more pure products that I could offer to my customers, made with care, made fresh, made without compromise. Ways that would feel light on the skin, absorb easily, nourish deeply. Make a person relax inhaling the aromatherapy blend infused into the product.

That is how the body butters came to life.

They were whipped, rich, but never greasy. Made with shea butter, mango butter, sweet almond oil, and essential oils that made you pause and breathe deeply. Scents like lavender, sweet orange, may chang, and pine, chosen not just for how they smell, but how they make you feel.

The first body butter I made was the Dry Skin one. The texture, soft, pillowy, rich and hydrating. It melted instantly into the skin, and the scent made me feel calm, energised, safe. I made it for myself first. And when I brought it to the markets, people noticed. They touched it, smelled it, and they wanted to take it home.

Soon came the Renewal, warm, floral, uplifting. Then Lime Mint, slightly minty and soft, comforting, unisex, perfect for men.

People would try some from the tester jars and look up at me with wide eyes. “Oh wow,” they would say. “That feels beautiful. I love the scent. What is it?”

Body Butter for Dry Skin became a favourite very quickly. The scent of may chang combined with pine created something magical, something that almost everyone responded to. I most definitely channelled this oil combination from deep within myself. I had never seen anyone else use these oils together. But once I did, you could not stop smelling them.

Customers loved it and started purchasing over and over again.

I felt like I was in my element. What a perfect response from the world to my journey. It had been over a year of working on my business, and I was still at it. I was making enough to sustain my life and slowly grow.

I had made risky but intuitive steps. I had trusted myself. And the path is still unfolding.

But now I know this is right. This is me. And when someone smells my product, takes it home, and then comes back for more, it must be my path. My authentic self contributing to the world. In a small way, yes, but in a huge and life changing way for me.
